Private EMDR-Informed Parts Work
For high-achieving women who are outwardly successful and privately tired of carrying it all
Why This Matters?
You’re capable. You’re accomplished. You’re relied upon
And yet, beneath the performance and composure, you may be carrying a level of internal pressure that’s hard to explain and impossible to “think” your way out of.
This work is for women who operate at a high level and want something more precise than insight alone.
It’s not weekly therapy. It’s focused, discreet, high-impact therapeutic work, designed to respect your time, intelligence, and internal system.
If this sounds familiar, you're in the right place
You might:
-
Feel constantly “on,” even when you’re exhausted
-
Overthink, over-prepare, or struggle to switch off
-
Carry responsibility easily and rest with difficulty
-
Know why you feel the way you do, but still can’t shift it
-
Function highly while feeling emotionally constrained, overwhelmed, or close to burnout
Why an Intensive Format?
High functioning, High achieving women
Open-ended therapy isn’t always the best container for high-performing women, not because you’re resistant, but because your system is often highly protective and highly efficient.
A full-day intensive offers what weekly therapy often cannot:
-
Continuity and depth without fragmentation
-
Clear containment no ongoing emotional “spillover”
-
Meaningful movement without dragging the work out
A structured high-impact day
These intensives use a structured, paced, clinically held EMDR-informed, parts-based approach. We work precisely with your internal system to:
-
Identify the internal roles currently running things
-
Understand what they’re protecting and why
-
Reduce internal conflict rather than fighting yourself
-
Allow change to happen without force or overwhelm
This is for women who want one dedicated day to address what has remained unresolved carefully, safely, and with precision.

Who I can help?
Executives & Senior Leaders
Navigating High Visibility and High Expectations
For many senior leaders, the challenge isn’t motivation; it’s a system that never fully switches off. EMDR-informed work helps reduce chronic threat activation so you can think more clearly, focus more consistently, and sleep more deeply, with greater capacity to perform without tipping into overwhelm or shutdown
Founders & Business Owners
Lead sustainably without living in overdrive or collapsing into shutdown
Founders often operate with constant responsibility, rapid decisions, and little true recovery which can leave the nervous system locked in high alert even when things are “fine.” EMDR-informed work supports your system to stand down, improving decision clarity, concentration, sleep, and emotional range.
Stretched Professionals in High-Responsibility Roles
Grounded, sustainable leadership
For many professionals in high-responsibility roles, leadership isn’t just what you do, it’s what others rely on. You may be carrying sustained pressure, constant decision-making, and the need to stay composed, often with little space to fully stand down. Over time, this can keep the nervous system in a persistent state of high alert, even when life looks “fine” on the outside. EMDR-informed work supports the nervous system to release chronic threat activation, creating space for deeper clarity, genuine rest, and more grounded, sustainable leadership.
What Working Together Looks Like
I work privately with a small number of clients at a time. Options typically include:
- Structured 1:1 EMDR-informed parts work
- Short-term intensives
- Ongoing, depth-oriented work
All work is confidential, boundaried and tailored to your capacity and pace.
Not all enquiries are suitable for intensive work, and there is no obligation to continue
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this therapy, coaching or something else?
This is a clinically grounded, EMDR-informed therapeutic intensive, offered in a structured, full-day format.
It is not coaching, and it is not open-ended weekly therapy. The focus is on focused, contained work that supports meaningful internal change without destabilisation or prolonged dependency.
I'm functioning well- do I really need this level of work?
High functioning does not mean your system is at ease. Many of the women and leaders I work with are functioning exceptionally well. This work is not just for when things fall apart,
It is for when the internal cost of staying strong, responsible, and composed has become unsustainable, even though life and work still appear to be “working.”
Will this make me fall apart or feel emotionally overwhelmed?
No. This work is specifically designed to avoid overwhelm. The approach is structured, paced, and parts-informed, which means we do not push past protective responses or force emotional processing. You remain oriented, present, and in control throughout the day. Depth does not require destabilisation.
I’ve done a lot of insight-based or talking work already. How is this different?
Insight is often necessary, but not always sufficient. Many high-achieving women understand why they feel the way they do, yet still experience chronic tension, vigilance, or shutdown. This work operates at the level of the nervous system and internal protective patterns, where insight alone cannot create change. The focus is resolution, not analysis.
Why a full-day intensive instead of weekly sessions?
For many high-achieving women, weekly therapy can feel fragmented, slow, or disruptive to daily life. A full-day intensive allows for:
-
Continuity and depth
-
Clear containment
-
Less emotional “spillover”
-
Meaningful movement without dragging the work out
It respects your time, capacity, and responsibility.
Is this confidential?
Yes. This work is private, discreet, and confidential. I work with a limited number of clients each month, and confidentiality is treated as essential, particularly for leaders, founders, and faith leaders in visible roles.
What if I decide this isn’t right for me after the consultation?
There is no obligation to proceed. The consultation exists to support clarity and informed choice, not pressure. Sometimes the most appropriate outcome is deciding not to move forward and that is respected.
Why is there a fee for the consultation?
The consultation is a structured clinical assessment, not a sales call. Its purpose is to determine whether a full-day intensive is appropriate, timely, and safe for you. This includes assessing readiness, capacity, and fit for intensive work. Charging a fee reflects the professional and clinical nature of this process.
Why EMDR - Informed Parts Work?
High-achieving women often have strong protective patterns, so insight alone doesn’t create change. EMDR-informed parts work helps the nervous system feel safe enough to shift without forcing or pushing through resistance. Many clients notice reduced internal pressure, easier rest without guilt, clearer boundaries, less over-responsibility, and greater steadiness under load.
Is EMDR safe for people who carry a lot of responsibility or visibility?
Yes — when it is used carefully and within a contained, parts-informed framework. This work is especially well-suited to leaders, founders, and community or faith leaders because it respects stability, discretion, and ongoing responsibility. We work with what your system allows, rather than pushing for intensity.
How does this take intersectional pressure into account?
Intersectional experiences such as race, gender, culture, faith, or marginalised identity can add layers of visibility, responsibility, and vigilance that are often carried silently. This work does not make assumptions about your identity or experience. Instead, it creates space to understand how your system has adapted to the realities you’ve navigated, and how those adaptations may still be operating under pressure. The aim is relief without erasure.
Will this conflict with my faith or spiritual beliefs?
No. This work does not seek to replace, challenge, or reinterpret faith or spiritual beliefs. It focuses on how the body and nervous system hold responsibility, threat, and protection, particularly in roles that involve moral weight, care for others, and public visibility. Many spiritual leaders find this work supports them to lead with greater presence and steadiness, rather than from depletion.
What kind of outcomes do people typically notice?
While everyone’s experience is individual, many clients report:
-
Reduced internal urgency or vigilance
-
Clearer thinking and decision-making
-
Improved sleep and recovery
-
Less over-responsibility or self-monitoring
-
Greater emotional range without overwhelm
-
A steadier internal baseline under pressure
The goal is not to remove your drive but to reduce the internal cost of it.
How do I know if I’m a good fit for a full-day intensive?
Fit will be assessed carefully through a private consultation. This allows us to determine whether:
-
A full-day intensive is clinically appropriate
-
The timing is right
-
This approach matches what you’re looking for
Not everyone who enquires is offered an intensive and that selectivity protects outcomes.
